Which is better ThinkPad T420 or T440?
T440 is just a much more mobile machine. And also, even though T440 can´t be bought with an IPS screen, the HD+ TN screens used here are a little bit less shitty then the ones Lenovo used in the T420.
Is it worth it to buy a T430?
Other than buying t430, another option would be to replace my t420 when it spoils then I would scout for a new one. For $100 it’s definitely worth it. For me the lower resolution will be an issue. I tend to multitask and have lot of windows/programs open at the same time. I find that my Lenovo Y470 with a resolution of only 1366×768 hinders me.

AFAIK only the T430s i7 model with Intel Graphics only (without nVidia graphics) has Thunderbolt. Well that’s the exact T430s I had.
